All Mossberg series shotguns manufactured after 1997 come with a pretapped receiver. This allows you to mount this picatinny rail to your receiver with no gunsmithing. Only takes about two minutes and you're set to mount any optic you like on your favorite shotgun. Check out our Vortex red dot sight. I've shot it on mine and it works great.
